Baptism Sunday

Jesus commanded us to be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20), not as a condition of salvation (we are saved by by grace through faith alone, Ephesians 2:8-9), but as a step of obedience, as a public declaration of our alignment with Christ, and as a symbol of our commitment to die to our old way of thinking and living and becoming a new creation.
